MICHAEL BEAN
Michael is one of the best-respected coaches and teachers in BC. A classically trained actor with an extensive film and television resume (IMDB), Michael is the author of “Confidence on Camera: A Handbook for Actors”, which is used by many local talent agents as a primer for clients new to the industry. Michael’s teaching style is characterized by deep curiousity and an infectious enthusiasm.
In 2020 Michael started MyFreeActingClass, in an effort to make free, high-quality learning materials as accessible as possible. Between 2020 and 2023 he recorded more than 100 lessons, and interviews with casting directors, producers, and successful film and television actors at all tiers of success.
He continues to teach weekly classes online, and regular workshops in Vancouver and elsewhere.
