Vancouver – In Person | Deep Dive Scene Study w. Alison Araya

This is a small-group practice class for students who are serious about honing their skills with a deep dive on sophisticated material in a very small class setting.

Students can expect to work on progressively challenging scenes in a variety of styles. Alison will choose scenes for each student, and students have the opportunity to give input on the kind of material they want to work on. The goal is to support and challenge each student appropriately.

ALISON ARAYA
Alison views herself as a “lifer” in the acting industry and is consistently excited by her work. She was born and raised in Australia, studied theatre in Italy, and has established herself in film and television in Vancouver as a busy character actor. Notable work includes the HBO Max series Peacemaker with John Cena, Netflix film Brazen with Alyssa Milano, and appearances on Maid, Riverdale, Supergirl, Arrow, Nancy Drew, Wolverine, and numerous Hallmark movies (IMDB). A passionate teacher and coach, her teaching style focuses on storytelling, which she views as an “innate part of our humanity,” believing that everyone has a story to tell and that people are “moved, entertained, inspired by each other’s stories”.
