Confidence on Camera | Salt Spring

 
This is a small-group practice class for students who are serious about getting comfortable in front of a camera, building confidence, and learning the real skills folks use to audition and work in film and television.

Unlike other acting classes, students’ work in each class is actually done on camera, using scripts from professional film and television auditions. Students get a lot of individual focus, support, and feedback, along with video of work from class.

Students can expect to work on progressively challenging scenes in a variety of styles. I choose scenes individually for each student, and students have the opportunity to give input on the kind of material they want to work on. It’s important to me to be able to support (and challenge) each student appropriately.

Although I’ve taught many working actors, no experience is needed to join class, only a willingness to learn, practice and play.
